As a blogger your knowledge about things related to your blog must be important to you and you must strive so as not to stay behind.

You must have come across images that are clickable and once you click on them, they will lead you to a designated destination. I mean where the image was being meant to led you to.

There are lots of people that visit your blog/website on daily basis and you can't tell the kind of people they are and anyone of them might show interest in your blog content.

It is popularly used with icon e.g social media icons or any other. So the image URL will be added to an hyper link text to complete the desired action. Linkable images can also be used for advertising symbol on a blog or web page, this make the advertisement look more attractive rather than must ordinary text.

Creating advert place on your blog can be the best option for you if properly done and eye-catching .there's no way to the advert can be eye-popping if only a good background image is used.

You can read my post on how to create an advert space in a blogger blog

There are many standard images that you can use as an advert link on your blog or social media icons that can make clickable and refer people to your social media profiles.

Now to know an image URL just go to POST from your blogger dashboard
CLICK ON NEW POST, make sure it's in compose mode then upload your image. After uploading your image switch your writing mode to HTML and you will be able to see the URL of image you upload,  it will look like this

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPfBpHF-mqUxRTMzuBL51vbGt7ESRUpJGEle7Pcy8pkAMBgZqIeTJoSgIlXXSj_Uw2CjD9s39gM8Qr2JN-Nyl4SlnGCUp_a-2zkqJUAwVjGsZDriAzCiwXan1ElWgCe9Oj2M1GPFEdCQLj/s1600/advertise+here.png

After switching from compose mode to html you find the URL that's similar to the one above, that's exactly your image link.
